Celebrating Bianca: A Journey of Growth, Adventure, and Pride

Adam and I recently spent a wonderful week with our daughter Bianca. I want to express how proud we are of her. Bianca has grown into a kind and thoughtful young woman, surrounded by friends and coworkers who not only enjoy her company but also appreciate her. We couldn’t be happier to have raised such a lovely person. As I was writing her bio for the podcast, I couldn’t resist sharing these thoughts. While Bianca can be tough, strong-willed, and stubborn at times, these qualities, along with her gentler side, make her an excellent partner, coworker, and friend. Even though it’s not Daughter’s Day, I choose to celebrate our daughter every day.

Bianca Betta, a communications graduate with honors from CU Boulder, has been an enthusiastic globetrotter since her youth. Her passion for travel blossomed during high school, where she embarked on service learning trips to South America, the Galapagos, Tanzania, Zanzibar, and Mexico, engaging in community service work.

During college, Bianca furthered her explorations with a semester abroad in Florence, Italy, followed by extensive travels throughout Europe, including a memorable journey with her family from Lake Como to Sicily. She has set foot on every continent except Antarctica, immersing herself in diverse cultures and landscapes.

After graduation, Bianca ventured through Southeast Asia before spending a year in Australia, working in Sydney and traversing the East Coast from the Great Barrier Reef to Melbourne, culminating her adventure in New Zealand. A reunion with her father in Japan added another dimension to her global experiences.

Upon returning to the States, Bianca relocated from California to New York, where she delved into logistics coordination for Susan Goldstein Staging Co. and briefly explored real estate with Engel and Volker. However, her heart ultimately led her to Hearst Media in 2019, where she thrives as a Talent Booker and Entertainment Coordinator, orchestrating talent acquisitions for iconic brands like Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, and more.

Today, Bianca splits her time between New York, Denver, and California, indulging in her love for outdoor activities, dining, and cultural exploration. A self-professed foodie, she maintains lists of restaurants to conquer worldwide and enjoys downtime with hobbies like cooking, beading, dominoes, and cherished moments with loved ones.
